If you no longer wish to use Abide in Christ, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
Option 1: Delete from the mobile app
- Open the Abide in Christ app.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your request.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at:
Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- Google email used to sign in
- Registered phone number, if available
- Church name, if applicable
After we verify your request, your account will be scheduled for deletion.
A 30-day grace period applies. During this period, you may contact support to cancel the deletion request.
After 30 days, your account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted.
What data is deleted
Data deleted may include:
- Profile information
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo
- Church membership information
- Prayer requests and replies associated with your account
- App preferences
- Notification tokens
Some records may be retained only where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-compliance purposes. Such records are retained only for the period required by applicable law.
